The male sex and the cow town: battle of the sexes: part 1

Nice guys finish last. A cliché, of course, but one that still reigns true in America's modern dating scene. If a guy opens doors, pays for meals, calls a couple of times a day just to "say hi" and is up front about his feelings he's being "too sensitive" and therefore becomes disgusting and undatable to women.
However, when one tries to avoid this by going to the other end of the spectrum, the quintessential "dick" that gets all the girls, you rapidly become an ass hole and the whole "chivalry is dead" argument comes up and just won't stop. So, we shouldn't be dicks but we can't be too nice because that's just unappealing.
So, what does that leave? A man without personality, feelings of neutrality in every area of his life and most importantly, no testicles to speak of. That's right, for a man to be successful dating nowadays he has to be practically castrated.
Trust me, I'm the one who opens doors for girls, pays for everything, tries to be as congenial as possible. I think my partner in crime, "Black Thomas," is with me on this one.
Yes, we know there are double standards for women. If you're a female in western society, if you display your sexual appetite publicly, or even in private, most of the time, you're considered a whore. However, the nice, quiet, Christian virgin is a prude.
People seem to forget that almost everything in life is a gray area, and the same reigns true for both men and women.
Ladies, we're just trying to make a good impression because y'all are so damn beautiful and great to spend time with. So please, don't categorize us and try to make us someone we're not.
