I would like to comment on the Lecture Series that featured a "debate" between Ron Jeremy and Pastor Craig Gross. I cannot ignore the fact that the University Student Union Board managed to bring out a surprisingly large crowd to the event, given that it was held on a Friday night and many students live outside of Turlock.
Advice for seniors

OK, I admit it. I was tempted to write a graduation speech, but I found the request for submissions rather cliché'. I gather GPAs automatically make a person qualified to be a great writer and speaker. But what I've found over my life course is grades don't necessarily make the person and even "C" students have meaningful things to say.
Reflections of a Super Senior

Ah, the end of the year. For some students here it's the sign of kicking things off for the rest of their lives. In other words graduation. Yes, break out the streamers, slip on your cap and gowns, and bask in the accolades of no longer being a college student for the rest of your lives.
